Admission Requirements
CUCOM admissions requirements are similar to the ones of the medical schools in U.S. The Admissions Review Committee at CUCOM considers many factors as relevant predictors of a good medical student. However, as medical school is a rigorous academic challenge, the committee must be satisfied that a prospective student has the ability to successfully assimilate the curriculum.
MD Admission Requirements
- The candidate must be of the age of 17 years on or before the 31st December in the year of admission. That means for the admission in 2022 intake, the students must be born on or before the 31st December 2005.
- The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and secure at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects of 12th standard. Students belonging to the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) get a relaxation of 10%. Further, physically challenged students in general category get relaxation of 5%.
- Students are also required to qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). This is mandatory even if the student is planning to pursue his medical studies abroad.
This is essential for all students who wish to return to India and be eligible for appearing for FMGE/ NExT Examination.
Step By Step Admission Process
Our mission is to find individuals with the potential to develop into outstanding physicians. The admission process is comprised of six stages. Your Admission Officer will keep you updated about your progress and answer any questions you may have.

Submit Application
Submit your high school certificates, scan copy of passport and passport size photograph. Wait for admission review committee to process your application.

Acceptance Letter
Within two weeks of the application, the Admission Review Committee makes a decision on the application. If approved, accept the offer within one week of issuance of letter. Pay 25% of tuition fee against advance fee.

Submit Your Documents
Submit your 10th & 12th Marksheet, Medical Fitness Letter, Police Clearance Certificate, Sponsor Letter, Bank Statement of last three months with minimum balance of US$ 12000 and Yellow fever vaccination certificate to Admission Office.

Apply For Visa
It takes minimum of one month to get visa after submission of documents. Now pay the remaining tuition fee, Accommodation charge if willing to stay in university campus and for Air Ticket. After receipt of Saint Lucia visa, apply for transit visa for preferred route.

Fly To Saint Lucia
You are all set to fly to Saint Lucia. India Admission Office will inform the date of travel and the tickets will be booked for complete batch. University provides you Airport Pick up and Drop services.
